Bishops Stortford 23 - London Irish Wild Geese 13

The London Irish Wild Geese returned to action after a three week break by making the trip to Bishop Stortford a team who are in the mix for the runner up spot in National Division Three, consequently the Geese were aware that this was not going to be easy game.
London Irish were the first team to get on the scoreboard with Liam Prescott converting a penalty due to infringement by Bishop Stortford.
0-3 to London Irish.
Over the course of the next ten minutes Bishop Stortford took control of the game with two quick tries and one conversion.
12-3 to Bishop Stortford.
For the rest of the half both teams gave it their all and as the London Irish Wild Geese whittled away at Bishop Stortford they was rewarded with a try by Sam McKinney which was duly converted by Liam Prescott. This score was quickly followed by another penalty by the Geese leaving them in the pound seat going into the break.

Into the second half and it seemed that Bishop Stortford were a bit miffed that they were behind and clearly came out determined to make amends and as London Irish went offside Bishop Stortford retook the lead with a penalty.
15-13 to Bishop Stortford.
As the second half wore on the game became even more competitive with neither side getting the better of each other, however The Geese were penalised and Bishop Stortford moved further ahead. 18-13 to Bishop Stortford.
Just about on the hour mark a rather dry day turned into monsoon like conditions and as a result the game a bit error strewn on both sides.
Into the last ten minutes and Bishop Stortford battered the Geese line for the rest of the match which eventually gave them their third try.
