The Leprechaun Lunch Members of the Rugby Writers' Club and other rugby commentators and writers are invited to participate in a competition exclusively for them and known as The London Irish Challenge Trophy. The winner is presented with The Leprechaun Trophy at The Leprechaun Lunch. The Challenge Trophy competition is run by the 200 Club. It was conceived and implemented by Charles Byrne in 1977 which he operated for the next 21 years and represents a magnificant contribution to the club. The 2010 Leprechaun Lunch will be held at Trinity House, Tower Hill, on Friday April 16 at 1200 for 1300 hours and the presentation will take place at 1415. We shall be keeping close to the timings for those who need to return to work. However, we are welcome to stay at Trinity House until 1500 hours.
