Dear Members of LIA RFC,
May I offer a sincere thank you to all of you who have given their committed and unconditional support to LIARFC for our future plans and in particular our proposed move to Hazelwood. You may be aware that the proposals put to the local Council were rejected. This is phase one of a long process. Please be assured that we will continue to work on your behalf to find ways to make our vision a reality for this generation and future generations of London Irish members and the Sunbury community.
It has come to my attention that a member of LIARFC has written an anonymous letter to LOSRA proferring information about our club. Whilst I support everyones right to have their own views and opinions and their right to disagree with the Clubs plans, I, and the Executive are disappointed that a member has chosen to act in this way. Subject to the laws of data protection, we are quite happy to discuss our plans and the evidence that supports our need to move. I would be happy to meet anytime anywhere with this anonymous member to discuss his or her concerns and to set out our position.
My email is on the website. Please get in touch. We are an open and honest club and would value the opportunity to address peoples issues.
